Hahaha. There's no China-EU rivalry. If there is, it's one-sided.

Macon: Fair computation only if I win 😂😂😂

It’s ironic to hear Macron talking about “unfair competition” and claiming victory over China in this new EU trade deal targeting Chinese EVs.

France and the EU have heavily subsidized their agriculture sector for decades via the Common Agricultural Policy. Massive taxpayer money flows into French farms every single year. Why is that never called unfair competition?

Chinese electric vehicles succeeded largely through years of industrial investment, supply‑chain building and market competition. When European automakers cannot compete on merit, they turn to tariffs and protectionism instead. This is blatant double standards. True fair competition should welcome products from all countries to compete on the market, not erect trade barriers when you fall behind.

Chinese EVs have been proven to catch on fire entirely too frequently, so what's the competition? If it's most fires, the EU needs to hurry up.
