VidNexa for Windows & Mac

The full VidNexa, in its own window.

Everything on vidnexa.com — watching, Vidlets, your Studio with uploads, Go Live, Spaces and messages — as real desktop software. Sign in once; the app remembers you, like your browser does, and outside links open in your browser as usual.

VidNexa on a laptop: the vidnexa.com home page in the VidNexa desktop app — the official VidNexa logo in the header, videos and Vidlets below
VidNexa on your computer — this is vidnexa.com itself, exactly what the app opens: the full site, signed in, with nothing cut down for the small screen.
Downloads need a free VidNexa account. Sign in first, then tap Download.

Everything VidNexa does — on the big screen

The phone app is built for the phone. On a computer you get the complete VidNexa, because the desktop app opens the full site — nothing is a cut-down copy.

The complete VidNexa

Watch, Vidlets, Live, Spaces, community, messages, memberships — every part of vidnexa.com, in one window on your computer, always current because it is the site itself.

Studio & uploads

Creators get the real Studio: upload videos from your computer's files, manage your channel, read analytics and track earnings — the full desktop workflow.

Go Live from your desk

Start a broadcast from your computer with its camera and microphone, and join Spaces the same way — the site's live features work in the app window.

Signed in once

The app keeps your sign-in between restarts, like a browser profile — open VidNexa and you are simply there. Sign out on the site and the app is signed out too.

Outside links behave

Links that leave VidNexa open in your normal web browser, not trapped inside the app — while sign-in, payments and video embeds stay in the window where they belong.

Made for the keyboard

A window that remembers its size and place, F5 to reload, Alt+arrow to go back and forward — and your media keys and full screen work with videos as you'd expect.

First launch: the installers are not code-signed yet. On Windows, SmartScreen may warn — choose More info → Run anyway. On a Mac, right-click the app and choose Open the first time. On Windows the app uses the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime — it ships with Windows 11 and is a standard component on Windows 10; if it is missing, Windows offers it automatically.

One honest note: the desktop app is vidnexa.com in its own window — so it needs an internet connection, exactly like the website, and everything you do in it is your normal VidNexa account at work. Prefer your phone? VidNexa is also on Google Play — same account, everywhere.

Questions

The short, honest answers.

Is this the same VidNexa as the Android app?

Yes — the same service and the same account. The Android app mirrors the mobile site; on a computer the full site is the complete VidNexa, so the desktop app opens the full site in its own window. Your subscriptions, library, Studio and settings are identical because they live on your account.

Does it work offline?

No — like the website, it needs an internet connection. Videos you want offline belong in the VidNexa Player app, which is built for files and offline playback.

Why does Windows warn me when I install it?

The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows a warning for any new publisher. Choose More info → Run anyway. On a Mac, right-click the app and choose Open the first time, for the same reason.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The desktop app is free with your VidNexa account — downloads are simply counted to your account, like our other desktop apps.
