Getting Started

Upload your first video

From choosing a file to choosing who can watch — publish your first video in a few steps.

Step-by-step

Sign in to your Vidnexa account.
Tap Create and choose Video, or open the Upload page.
Choose the video file from your device.
Add a title and description so people can find it.
Pick who can see it: Public, Unlisted or Private.
Press Publish — your video goes live when processing finishes.

Create a Vidlet in the Studio

Record or upload a short vertical video with the Vidlets Studio and publish it to the feed.

Step-by-step

Open Vidlets and tap the create button to open the Studio.
Record with your camera in one or more clips, or upload a vertical clip.
Use the timer, filters and layout tools to finish the shot.
Add a caption and hashtags.
Publish — your Vidlet appears in the Vidlets feed and plays on every device.

Go live from your browser

Broadcast with just your camera and microphone — no extra software needed.

Step-by-step

Open the Go Live page while signed in.
Allow camera and microphone access and check your preview.
Give your stream a title.
Press Go Live — you are broadcasting straight from your browser.
Prefer streaming software? The same page shows the server URL and stream key.
End the stream when you are done — streams are not saved as replays.

Start or join a Space

Join a live audio conversation, raise your hand, or host your own room.

Step-by-step

Open Spaces from the main menu.
To join, tap a live Space — you enter as a listener.
Raise your hand if you want to speak; the host can bring you on stage.
To host, start a new Space, give it a title and share it.
Hosts can have up to 6 speakers on stage and can end the Space at any time.

Set up channel memberships

Create up to three membership tiers for your channel and let viewers join.

Step-by-step

Open Studio, then Memberships.
Create up to three tiers for your channel, each with a name and a monthly price.
Members get a loyalty badge in your channel's comments and members-only community posts.
Viewers join from the membership section on your channel page.
Vidnexa keeps a 15% platform commission on memberships; the rest is yours.

Apply for monetization (and appeal a decision)

Submit your application from the Studio, and appeal from the same place if it is declined.

Step-by-step

Open Studio, then Monetization.
Read the eligibility information on the page and submit your application.
The Vidnexa team reviews it and you are notified of the decision.
Declined? You can appeal from the same page — appeals are reviewed too.
Once approved, watch your balance grow and request a payout when you reach the minimum shown on the payout page.

Control who sees your profile

One switch hides your profile, videos and Vidlets across the whole site.

Step-by-step

Open your account menu and choose Privacy Settings.
Turn off “Make my profile visible” to hide your profile, videos and Vidlets from channel pages, feeds and search.
Adjust the other toggles to control what your profile shows.
Save — the change applies across the whole site straight away.

Link the TV app

Connect the Vidnexa TV app to your account with a short code.

Step-by-step

Open the Vidnexa app on your TV — it displays a linking code.
On your phone or computer, sign in to Vidnexa and open Link TV (/link-tv).
Type the code exactly as it appears on the TV.
Confirm — the TV is now linked to your account.
