Filter by topic or type in the search bar. Click a question to expand it.
Account
Open Join now, choose a username and a strong password, then confirm your account. After you sign in you can customize your channel, upload, and go live from Studio.
Use the sign-in page and choose the password reset option for your account. If you cannot get in, email support@vidnexa.com from the address on the account.
Upload & Studio
Go to Upload in Studio. Drag and drop your video file or select it from your device. Add a title and description, set visibility, then publish. Processing time depends on length and resolution.
Common containers such as MP4, MOV, MKV, and WebM work best. H.264 or modern codecs with AAC audio give the most reliable playback. If a file fails, re-export as MP4 and try again.
Yes. Open the video in Studio to update title, description, thumbnail, visibility, age restriction, and geo settings. Replacing the source file may require a new upload depending on the asset.
Go live
In Studio, choose Go Live to generate your stream key. In OBS, set the Vidnexa server URL and paste the key. Start streaming from OBS, then end the stream from Studio when you are finished. Keep the key private — anyone with it can stream to your channel.
Check your upload bitrate against your connection. Lower the OBS output if packets drop. Viewers on slow networks get an adaptive ladder when available. Close other uploads on the same network while you are live.
Vidlets
Vidlets are Vidnexa’s vertical, mobile-native short videos. Publish a 9:16 clip from Studio or your phone. They appear in dedicated discovery rails as well as on your channel.
Monetization
Vidnexa offers creator-friendly monetization tools. When features are enabled on your account, set preferences in Studio — including ads, donations, and memberships. Availability can depend on region, content type, and policy review. We do not guarantee earnings.
Safety & privacy
Open the video in Studio. Under video settings, toggle age restriction or set geo-blocking by region. Use this when content is not appropriate for every audience or every country.
Use Report on the video or channel, or email support@vidnexa.com with the URL and a short description. We review spam, abuse, child-safety issues, and illegal content as a priority.
Copyright
Send a notice to support@vidnexa.com with the work you own, the Vidnexa URL, and your contact email. Only the rights holder or their agent should file a claim. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Watching
Lower the quality in the player if the control is available, pause other downloads, and retry on another network. Hard-refresh the page if a video stalls after a long pause. Adaptive bitrate should step down automatically on slower connections.

Registration is open to everyone. Tap Register, pick a username, enter your email and a password, and submit the form. We try to email you a 6-digit verification code — if the email does not arrive, the code is shown on screen instead. Enter it and you are signed in right away.
Use the password reset option on the sign-in page and a reset link will be sent to your account email. If you no longer have access to that email address, write to support@vidnexa.com and we will help you recover the account.
Open your account menu and choose Terminate Account (or go to /user/terminate-account.php). You will be asked for your password to confirm. Deleting your account is permanent, so make sure you have saved anything you want to keep first.
Sign in, tap Create and choose Video (or open the Upload page). Pick the file from your device, add a title and description, choose who can see it, and press Publish.
You choose for every video: Public means everyone can find and watch it, Unlisted means only people with the link can watch, and Private means only you. You can change a video's visibility later from your Studio.
Vidlets are short vertical videos — Vidnexa's short-form feed. You create them in the Vidlets Studio by recording with your camera or uploading a clip, and they play in the Vidlets feed on the homepage and in the app.
Open Vidlets and tap the create button to launch the Studio. Record one or more clips, use the timer and filters if you like, add a caption, and publish. Vidnexa converts recordings automatically so they play correctly on every device, including iPhones.
Open the Go Live page while signed in. You can broadcast straight from your browser camera and microphone, or use streaming software with the server URL and stream key shown on that page.
No. Live streams on Vidnexa are ephemeral — when the stream ends, no replay is kept. If you want a permanent copy, record it on your side while you stream.
Spaces are live audio rooms. Open Spaces to join a room and listen in, raise your hand to speak, or start your own Space and invite people. Hosts control who is on stage.
Memberships let viewers support a channel with a monthly subscription. Creators can offer up to three tiers with their own prices. Members get a loyalty badge in the channel's comments and access to members-only community posts. You join from the membership section on the channel's page.
Vidnexa keeps a 15% platform commission on memberships and tips. The other 85% goes to the creator.
Open Studio → Monetization and submit an application. Applications are reviewed by the Vidnexa team and you are notified of the decision. If an application is declined, you can appeal from the same area and the appeal is reviewed as well.
Once you are approved for monetization, your earnings build up a balance. When your balance reaches the minimum shown on the payout request page (currently $50), you can request a payout from that page.
Open Privacy Settings and turn off “Make my profile visible”. Your profile, videos and Vidlets are then hidden from channel pages, feeds and search across the whole site. A video someone opens from a direct link they already have can still be played.
On the watch page, open the menu on the video and choose Report — reports go to our moderation team for review. To block a user, open your Messages and use the block option there; blocked users cannot send you messages.
Open Vidnexa in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, then open Vidnexa from the new icon and sign in. Make sure push alerts are switched on in your notification settings — notifications then arrive like any other app's.
Yes. The Vidnexa app for Android is on its way back to Google Play, and there is a TV app you can link to your account (see the TV linking question below).
Open the Vidnexa app on your TV and note the code it shows. On your phone or computer, sign in and open Link TV (/link-tv), enter the code, and confirm — your TV is linked to your account.
