He could have pointed out that Macron is in the Middle East to try to lower fuel costs (part of the peaceful protests), not to avoid dealing with the riots (safer to deal with them remotely). He could have also stressed the fact that far left groups are organizing the violent protestors who are hijacking the mostly peaceful protests by the students (not just in Paris). He could have also talked about all the lost tax revenue (and jobs) that will be lost due to small businesses being destroyed by the rioters (as well as lost tax revenue due to lost tourism).
