Liverpool were praised for what exactly at the weekend?? 😂😂😂😂, I'll tell you what happened, they didn't have the premier league their to protect them
This is really simple to explain........ In theyre day Alison was the Best goal keeper in the world
And Van dijk was the best defender in the world. That time has long passed unfortunately so both need to be replaced ...... nothing .asts for ever guys 😢😢😢
Bunch of soft light weights! No passion or intensity! Most of them don't look bothered! How I miss Klopp's team and players like Salah, Mane and Firmino! Now we have over priced light weight flopps like Writz and Barcola!
Guys, Liverpool's always been a side like this! Hot and cold, never truly consistent! Defensively always looked like they never had a plan. When they got it right they were always on point, which is why I support them since Kevin Keegan visited South Africa...but they were never a side that one could count on!
and some fools in the lead up to the Arsenal v Liverpool game were saying that Jacquet was a better CB than Konsa and Van Dirk over Gabriel.. Ridiculous.
Liverpool have no excuses today. But, of course, nobody will talk about the penalty they got away with or the sending-off decision. If this were Arsenal, you pundits would be talking about it for the rest of the week. Liverpool should have been down to 10 men early in the game, and they were poor throughout. Stop being so biased against Arsenal. No more excuses!
💯
As long as Van Dijk wears the captain's armband, it is highly unlikely that the defensive performances will improve. We need someone who can stand up to him and tell him to do better as a player and as the defense leader. Sadly no one from the current team is capable of that!
Liverpool are the only team I know of who are about to play two seasons in a row without a right back. There’s no wide threat on either side, despite the wingers we have, rarely any wide threat! Why, look at our LB and RB from previous seasons and look at what’s there now!
There was no one on the back post for the 2 goals, basic defensive strategy. But the modern game thinks its better than proven old fashioned common sense. They did that under Klopp as well… drives me mad. Deserved to lose.
This reminds me of when the media said Man Utd did great against Arsenal losing 1 nill last season and now the media said Liverpool did great losing 1 nill to Arsenal 😂. Both went on to lose next match. Bizarre media
Too many egos in the squad have been allowed to dictate things fot too long. This set in under Slot and Iraola is pulling his haircut because he's been witnessing things inferior he joined the club. There is a dont really care attitude regarding results aswell. Too many prima Donna's and now fighters. Name a Liverpool player who puts his foot in to a tackle?
Most interestingly, now the LFC fans have found Wirtz is not the scapegoat ... - now they need other scapegoats? Only picking some players? Never trusting the coach, never forgiving? What poor fans LFC has ....
It has been an issue season after season, Liverpool must score 3-4 goals to win a game because they are shambolic in defence. I can't remember a half decent team conceding a goal like the 3rd, just a lumped high ball in the area with 4 Liverpool players in there and a striker gets a clean header to win the game, like, really?!?
It wasn't sloopy goals. the second goal came from a poor defensive header, the first goal came from a freekick [good shot] that hit the defender's thigh and went in. a goal is a goal.
December 2006 was the last time Fenerbahce won a champions league fixture that's 20 years ago. it's nothing personal towards the Turkish outfit but I've watched them a few times this season already and their nothing special, VVD is totally finished, he's a busted flush just blocking any progression Liverpool are aiming for
Why Allison is still playing for Liverpool. the dude handed over the ball to arsenal players last week ended up become the only goal in the match. He does not get picked by Ancellotti for Brazil team yet he is still featuring in Liverpool shirt
absolutely embarrassing performance for everyone who contribute to that loss, and especially in our defense
complete disgrace from top to bottom

Jacquet looked a mess and so did Alisson and Van Dijk
For context, Fenerbache haven’t won a game in the UCl group stages for 18 years, until they played Liverpool. Also lost 6-0 to Aston Villa only a month ago. Don’t downplay his w embarrassing this is for Liverpool.
