I like how the City players shut their ears against the boos , focused on the game, and eventually silenced those Liverpool supporters 😂

That idiot needs a stronger prescription. That was never a yellow, I’m not sure it was even a foul.

Well Bentacur was sent off yesterday. So was it a red and Shaw a yellow. ?

First yellow was an atrocious decision. Second yellow was probably a correct decision. Referee 50% at fault, Gravenberch 50% at fault when he knew he was walking that line.

All we want is consistency. If there is no game management from the ref let that be throughout the season and in other games.

This conversation is a joke. Liverpool don’t even try to represent their city anymore. Not one British player in the starting 11. 1989 fa cup final vs Everton and everyone was British. 37 yrs later and not a British player hardly to be found. How does Liverpool represent remotely the city…How? The UK has a systemic problem and Liverpool is a symptom of it.

Craig Burley, the disingenuous moron, will flip the script sometime soon and be complaining about terrible refereeing ruining the game. Gravenberch getting sent off today was a disgrace, the typical shambolic performance from the PGMOL and their referees. Manchester native Chris Kavanagh has no business being near these games and the same goes for Michael Oliver.
@EthanHowell2025
Problem is the ref’s interpretation of that as a “promising attack” on the second yellow. That is not a situation where he prevented a promising attack. Doku was dribbling into a dead end where Liverpool had a set defense and 6 defenders behind the ball, pretty much a 3 on 6. That’s a common foul, no more.

Howard Webb HIMSELF said the reason Kovacic didn’t get sent off last season is to not ruin the game. Word for word he said “he doesn’t want to have a negative impact by overreacting” talking about Michael Oliver. Funny how these decisions always go in favor to city when it’s in their benefit. Stevie is 100% correct in this. These refs are just as corrupt as the sham club in Manchester. I actually can’t watch the premier league anymore until sanctions come.

It is about consistency. Guehi handles the ball and gets nothing. Liverpool player does a card motion and he gets a yellow but Fernandez does it and gets nothing. The yellows given to the Gravenberch were really poor.
@joybie07
@@joybie072 weeks ago
How convenient for everyone to say Kavanagh just did his job by letter of the rules. BS! Ruben Diaz rugby tackles Koumas, no yellow. Anderson pulls Gravenberch’s shirt, no yellow. Haaland & Fernandez signalled yellow cards to the ref, no yellow. Was very clear from the moment Kavanagh blew the whistle, he will be the deciding factor in this match. And he actually was.
