Young Americans across the map overwhelmingly backed Democrats in the midterm. It is a huge shift from the presidential election, in which young men especially helped put Trump in back in office. Grace Weinstein, senior correspondent at The Recount explains this pendulum swing, and why Trump failed to inspire young men this time around.
Not quite sure why DW is concerned with these voters in America when they couldn't care less about them in Germany. Compare the coverage of all the issues leading to the German riots with their coverage of the American midterms 😂
And exactly nothing is going to change. You're all delusionally obsessed with with some popularity contest you think you have a stake in. Whom with which each and every single one of them has done treacherous things to sit in the very chairs you carved by hand. So you pick the pair with the least blood and then watch them turn redder to give you what you want, just to cast them away once they can't recognize themselves anymore in the mirror all for "your best interests". None of the bs you watch on screens ever comes close to your front doors beyond gas prices fluctuating now and then. Yet you all act like you have REAL problems, like worrying if an explosive strapped to a drone is going to ruin your trip to Target.
Men vote conservative because the 'traditional values' they want to preserve is their place of power. They think it will keep them in control - in the world, in their careers, in their neighborhoods, in their relationships. It's the illusion of control. Manly man theater. And when voting from egotism backfires on the economy, well, it's hard be the big man when you can't find a job or get a date.
The growing concerns surrounding Donald Trump’s presidency raised serious questions about political accountability, integrity and leadership.
From controversial cryptocurrency dealings involving family members and associates, to military confrontation with Iran and its wider geopolitical consequences, the decisions made by America’s leadership have implications far beyond its borders.
The consequences are ultimately borne by ordinary people. Rising energy prices, inflation, economic uncertainty and the escalating cost of living are affecting households not just in America but across the world.
America’s leadership carries enormous global responsibility. When political decisions contribute to instability, conflict and economic hardship, it is ordinary citizens who pay the price.
Power should come with responsibility, leadership should come with integrity, and public office should serve the people rather than personal interests.
Million dollar question is Will Trump be impeached and would Democrats have guts to impeach him?
Ferkrissakz...where were these brave voters when it wasn't so trendy, like 3 years ago? When Trump was, ahem..."inspiring" them? It just seems to be all about them as individuals and not for the greater good.
whatever outcome, No change of support lsre@I.
😂the whole world knew both red and blue report to lsre@I.
Americans need to remember to pay tax to support.
😅You pretend you don't know.
When a ruler becomes a tyrant, people become rebels (or rise up in rebellion).
This concept is a famous theme in political philosophy and history.
• The Mandate of Heaven: In ancient Chinese philosophy, if a ruler became corrupt or tyrannical, they lost the right to rule, and the people had a legitimate right to rebel.

• John Locke's Social Contract: The philosopher John Locke argued that when a government becomes tyrannical and violates the people's natural rights, the people have a duty to overthrow it.
