If their argument was that there was confusion between the two of the choices then the argument can be made for people making uninformed choices resulting in a poor choice candidate like Donald Trump. The case would be thrown out because they're trying to make a grey area where there isn't one and the acceptance of the grey area will mean there's more grey area that could be made.

As a Chinese person, I refuse to give up hope in the American people. I believe that millions of ordinary Americans still possess the common sense, humanity, empathy, and moral courage to stand up for what is right. Decency is not dead. Conscience is not obsolete. And no matter how powerful the forces trying to silence the truth may be, they cannot erase the human instinct for justice. I still believe that the conscience of the American people will have the final say.
