As a victim I completely understand that the mother get the worst sentencing , the bad guy does bad actions, but the mother is supposed to protect, without the mother aloud it to go on, the victim could have got help. I are much more angry at the people that refused to help me.

And the saddest part other than the obvious. This little girl lost her childhood, was taken out of her home (which is the only upside), was seperated from her siblings, thrown into foster care (hopefully not an abusive one), and even had her baby taken away from her. We all will say she is too young to raise thz baby and i agree mostly but that doesnt mzan it was easy on her

Wild how she gets 7 life sentences and the woman teacher who had a baby with a 11 year old in New Jersey just got off with 5 years. How about we protect our kids equally and give them all life or death penalty would be fine.

How could she even try to argue her case? Nothing to argue, she is a sick, sexually abusive, monster.
Even if she could be believed that she didn't know about the abuse, she certainly was aware of the pregnancy and took measures to conceal it from the pediatrician and school staff, and she can't claim that she didn't know that the girl was in labor. <br>If that poor child could have walked after the birth, she'd still be hidden in a back room,probably pregnant again.
My thought is that the stepfather could get parole in many years with his sentence, but her having 7 life sentences makes her appear more horrible than him, and thus far less likely to be considered for parole.<br>Not that either of them deserve it. And I hope prison justice catches up with him.

3 adults in that house? How do you not have running water and stuff with 3 adults? I also don't understand how a mother and grandmother didn't do anything to stop the abuse. Or even take that child to the hospital for the birth. That poor child must have been in excruciating pain. I can't picture that at 11 yrs old. I hope all 3 never see freedom again. This behavior is far more common than anyone commenting is willing to admit. CSA is more pervasive than the opioid epidemic and affects EVERY family in America. Whether it's at the hands of a relative or a trusted family friend it doesn't really matter because at the end of the day children are victimised and no one stops it.

Supposedly one of the rights American's are guaranteed is a right to a speedy trial and to face our accusers yet EVERY time anyone invokes ANY Constitutional rights when dealing with the government the punitive response surpasses whats required to reach justice. There will be a high cost if you require a judge to actually work and participate in a trial where they are forced to miss their usual golf outings at the country club.

A poor 11 yr old child after all the abuse she suffered she was forced to give birth of a full term baby without anything a 11 yr olds body isn't prepared for any of that she must have suffered terribly and to only have the 3 losers! And how do you not have water for 3 yrs like how did they even bathe , wash clothes or dishes ( I'm guessing they didn't) but how about using the bathroom???? I pray for these children and their healing and futures !!!

Also, this poor child’s suffering didn’t stop after birth. She now has a child in the world that she was hormonally bonded to care for, that she was likely separated from with regular visitation to take the motherhood burden off her.
