No similarities between Hungary and Serbia. Serbia is really different and Vucic was did different politics than Orban did. Don't forget also that during the Yugoslavian revolution in start 2000's Serbia had chance to drive to country closer to EU...Zoran Djindjic was the leader but they killed him and after the country started to collapse and the peoples dream about better future was lost.

They are not politicians, but they have the support of many in the opposition who are politicians, and who will probably be advisors but not MPs. And the students don't need a clear leader. That's what a parlament is all about. NO MORE LEADERS!!!!

This is great news, and commentators from Poland should have a better understanding of what has just happened in Serbia. How many of those elected from Solidarność in 1989 had "political experience"? Of the approximately 140 elected, around 100 have doctorates. They made the list because a popular movement respects and trust them. Yes, they will face a difficult task, but they have a plan -- root out the corruption and establish a true democracy with rule by law.

We should all share in the joy that a corrupt regime has been PEACFULLY removed. Let us hope that they will succeed in establishing a safe and enduring open democracy.

They don’t need those so called “experienced” because experienced means corrupted. They are here to change things. No need to be “experienced” in corruption. Love from Bohemia ❤

I guess it is like picking a Mystery box. Putin Puppets is likely in the box. 😄Or they will be after a bout of unfortunate sickness, plan crashes and window accidents.

I don't understand, how do you mean that Brussels exerts pressure on Serbia in the context of joining the EU? Aren't these negotiations, it means an agreement between two equal parties, we Serbs historically react badly to blackmail and pressure, remember our history, Serbia never bends the knee, you can defeat us in a moment, but not for long
