They need to put some teeth in the price gouging laws or at least apply the ones that already exist. With COVID, tariffs and now Iran prices rose but never came back down (at all) once corporations' cost went back down. It's not just a coincidence that corporate profits have been at historical highs since the COVID price hikes. I'm sick of the answer "Oh companies never lower prices once they go up." We'll make them do it! Quit letting them price gouge us. Quit letting them create monopolies so we have no alternatives. All politicians better remember from this election that we the people ultimately have the power to make or break them. Not the lobbyists and their money.

Rollback BBB & repair ACA, repair SNAP, rollback the Tariffs back to pre-2025 and restore deminimis, rehire or hire more government staff back to some of the various departments that are understaffed. Restore the programs that made Solar & Wind affordable to get America off its Gas Addiction and build energy resilience. THEN investigate and impeach everyone around the President who has grifted the American People. The President himself will likely be immune, but the people around him aren’t - and these guys should toss the trash out of DC. <br><br>What they shouldn’t do is try to impeach Trump - it’s not worth the hassle and energy at this point. I think they should also pass bills that would fix things if they passed - even if Trump vetoes it. Every time that happens, that will be proof for 2028 that the White House needs a better president who will work for the American people and not his own wallet - or for Putin.<br><br>And for dear god, if we are going to use our military - pull them out of Iran, and go produce stuff for Ukraine to kick Russia’s ass and kick them out of Ukraine. And uphold our alliances, from Europe to Taiwan.
