The rioters were breaking chunks of concrete out of the ground to throw at cops. That isn’t self defense

They're just going to double down using the riots as an excuse to monitor people with AI and saying anything bad about who or what really controls things.

This is Shocking coming from the New York Times:

The New York Times—The downside of diversity - By Michael Jonas, Aug. 5, 2007

“A study by Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam indicates that high racial and ethnic diversity in communities correlates with decreased civic engagement and social trust. The research shows that residents in more diverse neighborhoods tend to participate less in civic life and exhibit lower mutual trust compared to those in homogeneous settings.”

These are the downsides of diversity:

—Lower Social Capital and Trust
—Decreased Civic Engagement
—Communication and Collaboration Barriers
—Increased Conflict and Tension
—Organizational and Implementation Pitfalls.

They will claim the protests are motivated by anything and everything except the MOST OBVIOUS thing. 4:25...the right to "protest" is nonsense. Nobody is making arguments, they are just disrupting society. The modern political protest, almost always practiced by the left, is an antidemocratic action. It attempts to claim that a perspective is the majority while ignoring everyone who disagrees. Campaign and win election instead of throwing a large scale hissie fit that costs the society billions in damages and lost production. Why can a protest disrupt another citizens commerce and income? Why is no compensation due?

French reporters are not just delusional but are showing severe signs of emotional Stockholm syndrome , by calling this riot “ mostly peaceful “ which is also known as “CNN Syndrome“ or that the “violence is a cause for affordability/cost of living”,and focusing their reporting on “Police Violence” instead of the Rioters Violence..

In 2019, France called the violent riots in Hong Kong a "peaceful protest." Why is it a different story when French students do the same thing now?

I Had chances to talk to a few young people from France who came to work in Australia on holiday working visa at my rural town. I found that they are rather ignorant and indifferent about the state of their own country, economically, but love rebelling for whatever cause politically. They don't trust their government and their leader, President Macron, because he is a "lawyer", their word. When I corrected them that the president background is from public servant not a lawyer, they were surprised! When I mentioned about the many protests with destruction, it seemed they were very proud of these rebellions. At the end, I told them that I found the young people in Australia love their country than the young people in France. Sorry to say that!

Interesting how much this resembles the French Revolution of 1789. More than 200 years later, it's still the same story: rich versus poor. This woman, with her expensive clothes and no understanding of what poor people go through, is basically saying, "Let's arrest the poor and send them to the Bastille."

The Républicains woman offers little other than naked demagoguery and reactionary talking points - what suggestions she does offer would be a surefire guarantee to increase tensions. The other panelists were reasonable and balanced in their approach. This will only end with having people come together for holistic solutions and defusing causal issues.

France’s anemic response to has opened the door to a culture of anarchy and furthered xenophobia. France has been building toward this with its now-infamous laissez-faire attitude toward illegal immigration and migrants harrassments at its tourist attractions. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for ordinary citizens
