Nether. Serbia will stay exactly where it is and both Moscow and Brussel will stay where they are.

This is a highly simplified analysis of a state that has existed since the early Middle Ages. Throughout most of its medieval history, Serbia maintained dynamic relations with Byzantium, Bulgaria, and Hungary. More than half of the Serbian population lived outside the borders of Serbia. Following the Ottoman occupation, two Serbian states—Serbia and Montenegro—emerged in 1876, a development that caused unease for Austria-Hungary. Seeking an ally, Serbia found one in Russia and France. After the 1917 revolution in Russia, Serbia severed all ties with Russia (the USSR); the Karađorđević dynasty did not recognize the USSR until 1939, prompted by the emerging threat from Germany. By an ironic twist of fate, the USSR later occupied the territory of Yugoslavia and installed a communist regime, which was largely controlled by Croats and other minority groups. Tito, a Croat, moved against Serbs within the Communist Party—while also countering the influence of Moscow—under the orchestration of Britain, which provided him with political protection and financial support. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991, Russia did not act as an ally to Serbia or the Serbs; instead, it supported the Croats—arming them, being among the first to recognize their independence, and imposing sanctions on Serbia. Russia provided no assistance to Serbia during the 1990s, and in 2003, Putin withdrew Russian peacekeeping forces from Kosovo and Bosnia. The European Union could play a significant role in Serbia’s development and further integration, provided it does not coerce Serbia into relinquishing its own territory—a demand it does not make regarding Ukraine. Notably, five EU member states—along with the Vatican—do not recognize Kosovo. Serbs are one of the oldest European peoples, with a vast and illustrious history of struggle for freedom and European Christian values; furthermore, the majority of Serbs living outside of Serbia reside and work in EU countries. Russia is an Orthodox nation and, as such, will always hold a significant place in the minds of Serbs, yet their actual lives and work are inextricably linked to Europe.

Total cynicism from the presenters here. They say the administration wasn't willing to move on Kosovo, yet completely fail to mention the step-by-step handovers that actually took place under Vučić's rule. From the license plate agreements to the integration of the police and courts into Pristina's legal system, parallel Serbian institutions were systematically dissolved. The media calls it a "refusal to normalize relations," but the reality on the ground was a steady institutional retreat.
Now, it seems they want a total surrender of Kosovo so they can finally complete the Titoist vision of a fractured Serbia—where Vojvodina is separated and Serbia is diminished to the "Beogradski pašaluk." They want to finalize the balkanization of Serbia and pretend it’s a good thing, which is why they get so sore when someone like Saičić says Serbia will not give up Kosovo.
Furthermore, the Serbian public didn't vote for an EU-oriented party under Đilas and Ponoš, proving they don't want the EU either. You simply lack an understanding of how Orthodox history is vital to Serbian survival. What you fail to comprehend is that people who weaponize this relationship with Kosovo will eventually end up like those who built Ćele Kula in Niš. Because Saičić knows this, you call him out to be more "flexible" (since your mission is to destroy Serbia) in order to wave dirty cash in front of him. But you can't break him, and you are terrified because of that.
Not to mention, you cooperated with Vučić for 14 years, applauding his efforts while he betrayed Serbian interests and built a mafia state. Your true vision for Serbia is either Austro-Hungarian colonial subjugation or an EU dependency—a source of cheap labor and a backward society that deserves no respect. What we actually want here is the rule of law and respect for a Serbian heritage that no one can deny. Serbia survived for a thousand years under much more oppressive regimes; it will survive now, prosper, and refuse to give up Kosovo. Instead, we will work to build a state where all Serbians can unite and thrive across different political backgrounds, while remaining true to Serbian history and our relationship with Russia.

At least 80% of people in Serbia are pro Russia and China. That fact does not mean that it is impossible to have 250 members of Parliament who are pro Brussels and Nato, that is possible in today s society and politics, but can only be short lived.

NATO is a cover that USA can control its vassals, colonies, servants, and Serbia is their empty spot, that NATO can spread
its domination, supremacy, hegemony, primacy over whole Europe until Russian borders. But there is no USSR, cold war is
over, NATO has to go home. Scandinavian and Baltic idiots, mostly neutral, were happy and prosperous countries, as neutral,
where people wanted to migrate in. Today, obsessed with military development, army training, shelters, exercises, barbed
wire borders, hardly, somebody wants to live there. (but Belarus is screwing EU countries throwing inside `migrants`) Nobody
wanted to attack/invade those countries, until NATO decided to infiltrate closest as possible towards Russian borders. Ukraine
was chosen, since 1997. by Zbigniew Brzezinski (The Grand Chessboard) to be pivot geopolitical point state, for American
domination, in conquering Eurasian continent. (book worth of reading). And neutrality of Ukraine was essential for balance
between great powers. Unfortunately for USA, there is no unipolar world, no USA hegemony, domination, primacy, China is here,
India arriving, and people in Ukraine continue to die, but there is no significant point, that CIA/MI6, elite, globalists, deep state,
neocons, military lobby, other agencies and investment groups like Black rock, insist on attacking Russia over Ukraine. For
Serbia is essential to stay away from EU/Brussels warmongers, "defense alliances", involvement in Russia-USA war. As Moscow
is turning its back to Asia, BRICS, ASEAN, and other non western organizations, Serbia has no need to develop trade with EU, if
blackmailed and pushed. Yes, domestic issues and reconstruction of Serbian state are priorities. And good relations with
neighbors and other states. No need for any sanctions towards other countries, fulfilling wishes and demands from Brussels.
Many experts say, that EU can`t last for much long, if economy stagnates and falls down. Change of governments with Le Pen
and AfD will accelerate that process, of returning EU to be trade union, not military and warmongering one, extension of NATO.
Brussels bureaucrats must go, way of ruling the EU must change. Everybody who wants to lose its sovereignty and be ruled
from Washington and Brussels, have our support. But EU separated from Russia, with boycott on trade will lose further. And
will collapse in future, maybe reorganized in different shape, away from centralized dictatorship. Forces from west will try to
absorb Serbia into their domination. But with blackmails hardly. First to recognize Russian liberated provinces, then Serbia
can talk about "liberated" Kosovo province. And further, Catalonia, Turkish Cyprus, Italian Istria, etc. So don`t worry for Serbia.

Why do they need to choose? They can go both ways at the same time. The EU attitude towards Russia is sickening.

the balkans were not particularly diverse. much less than france, italy, spain and many other countries. today's "diversity" is the result of the fact that the great powers, especially the Germans, the English and the Vatican, did not allow the Serbs to reconstitute themselves after Turkish slavery. only Tito [who was a British spy] created three completely new nations during the communist dictatorship. with the help of the Serbian communists, he invented the Macedonians in 1945, which is probably the first and last time that the communists founded a church to separate them from the Serbian Orthodox Church.
then in 1971 he invented a nation that he called Muslims with a capital M, and since 1993 they are called Bosniaks. and by far the biggest ethnic engineering was done in Montenegro, where the proudest Serbs were made into an anti-Serbian nation. if that Tito of yours had lived longer, we would probably have a nation of Vojvodina.

It wasn't about Great Serbia, both times when United Soth Slaves state (Yugoslavia) was created, i. 1918. and 1945. So at the end of both World Wars Serbs were on the right side of the history, others in region were't, they were Nazi oriented ( Croatians, muslims ...). Serbs together with Allies libereted whole region till the border of Italy. If we didn't take them , they sholuld pay war reparations . So they together with West backers decided not to be called losers and lose face but Britain and Vatican helped them to create country called Yuhoslavia insted as it should be only Serbia. And only with parts with Serbian maiority. We should let Italians, Hungarians and others take the rest. The King Alexander Karadjordjevic is also to blame, but he paid his naivnes with life in Marselle atentat. Comunists who libereted the same region including Trieste from Ustasa , Germans and Italians (so Nazies) were 80% Serbs. Small part of other ethnicities change side in 1944 when it was clear that Nazies are going to lose. Unfortunatly in sistem of camps in Jasemovac was killed between 600.000 and 800.000 people. mostly Serbs, then Jews and Roma. Every family had someone killed in Jasenovac, very often whole families. Only from Kozara 20.000 children. Your story is a fogery. Tito was Croat , installed by Britain. Have a good day

It's interesting how the Serbs cry every day about two or three months of bombing, while the surrounding nations woke up every morning under their bombs for years.

Serbia has 3 options , 1 Join Russia (not a good choice), 2 Join with Europe ( no, still tied to mindless Russian subjectivity ), 3 Turkey's Optional alliance for World Peace through cessation of, 1 the European conflict, 2 the Middle East conflict, 3 Current Religious hostilities. Vućić is off to the UN as the new "Muslim Secretary General" in December as a "Done Deal" between Russia & America.

Usual Western narrative. You know what, Serbia gave the entire Europe a lesson on democracy. A 14-year old regime was removed in 2 years, and on the night of the elections, peacefully. So, enough with your preaching. France, Germany, and Italy are in chaos. Go there and preach.

First of all, Serbia is in South-Eastern Europe. Second, we have plenty of domestic problems to solve before we get to the foreign policy.
