As Indian, we were asked to shut down own energy buying for our poor people and we slapped with 100% tarrif. Will US put 100% tarrif on US govt for buying the Russian oil it has sanctioned. Also, russia uses this money to fund Iran war, is USA funding the Iran against USA via russia?

Germany needs to pull away from the neocon Atlanticist paradigm and look at the current situation with sober objectivity. Russia is not threatening to attack any European country, it is the EU that is extremely aggressive towards Russia, and Germany would benefit far more as Russia's partner, which it was for hundreds of years. The foreign policy of Merz and other EU globalists is insane and counter to Germany's best interests. Wake up Germany.

Trump's Russian diesel deal is questionable both in volume and legality. The first shipment of 300,000 tons covers only about 14 hours of US consumption, and even the full pledged amount barely lasts a few days. Congress will likely block the deal, as it violates the 2022 law banning Russian energy imports and skips the required consultation with Congress. Seven senators — four Republicans and three Democrats — are demanding an immediate reversal, and Republican Senator Thom Tillis has made clear the embargo must stay until Russia returns all occupied territories.
Canadian Diesel can underwrite the deal if it has any diplomatic worth. Germany needs to rally the eastern Nato allies. Putin has lost his throne.
