0:16 what always morbidly amuses me is the fact they have a cushy mattress and pillow on the execution table.

Its really unbelievable a Western country still allows & carrys out death penalties in 2026 like we were in 1826, but to carry out a failed execution again, after THEY FAILED in carrying it out is just dispicable. Its not her fault & she asked for another method to be used. She should stay in prison, but it should not be legal to carry out the D.P. after it was legally carried out once already. Including giving her the meds through the veines. If they messed that up, thats on them. This is also important for the future. If they know, they can just botch it & then do it again, then they wont start having all the rules followed, knowing they can just do it again.

Seems like there's a lot of misinformation or just made-up facts regarding Pike. Now, this guest says hr heard the drugs were old and she "intentionally dehydrated herself" despite a court hearing weeks ago where the defense presented her vein condition. Where did he get that from? These pros don't seem very professional.

I know someone this really happened to. You are captured by terrorist and they take you out in the woods and make you dig a grave. They then have you stand in it and put a pistol againist the back of your head. They pull the trigger and it goes click. The gun isn't loaded. They laugh and take you back to their camp. Is that cruel? It is no less cruel when the state does it.

We do remember why she was sentenced to death in the first place right?
Why is no one talking about the family of the victim in this case. They must be devastated, they lost their daughter to a senseless crime, and seem to have been forgotten in this process.
Was the murder of Colleen, due to gossip and jealousy cruel and unusual punishment? Was she not in pain as she was beaten to death until she was unrecognizable and begged for her life.
Let’s not forget that she has tried to murder her cell mate by strangulation with shoelaces while incarcerated. It doesn’t seem like 30 years has changed her at all.

They cannot try to put her to death. She will get life without parole. My mother was a guard in the prison for women years ago. I am torn when it comes to the death penalty. Too many cases 40 years old have been proven innocent. But i don’t agree to let them go if something happens that it didn’t work. She really should be compensated because they tried twice. But life without parole.

I find it fascinating that the government is trying to decide what to do with her and people are arguing on the ethics of trying to kill her again, while at the same time the american government is planning to live televise a public execution via firing squad for a different criminal.
