My guess.. the father in jail for manslaughter because he was drunk driving in the dui accident that killed the mom and the aunt who is related to the mother hates kids who looks like the dad.
What gets me...it's one child they focus on...to hurt and starve...then why is the abuser always at least one overweight...this is wrong on so many levels...then crys...non9ne crying for those children...we need to do an eye for eye...take their food away...punish them and mistreat them like those kids...

The adults in these cases almost always look overfed...how do you watch a kid starve and not feel guilty about eating as an adult? I don't eat till I am sure my kids are well fed

This is disgusting and unreasonable punishment, in other words torture. If I were her I would use words about his behavior in why what he did is wrong in 5 parts. This is wrong, why it's wrong, this what it can cause, please don't do this again and this will be the consequence if you do this again. Then the punishment would be no snacks for a few days, no electronics for a few days, no friends for a few days or writing lines. He would still get breakfast, lunch and dinner. This however, is truly sickening, no child is perfect they're still learning, nobody is perfect but no child does anything so sinfully heinous and wrong to get a punishment this extreme.
I’m from eastern Kentucky. This goes on 50x more than gets reported. Corporal punishment in Appalachia has a different definition 😞
