Still to this day I do not agree with the decision they made to make Trevor Noah the host of The daily show. It just seemed like a huge slap in the face to all the correspondence that had spent years putting their time effort and energy into that show to just get passed by for someone that has never been part of the organization at all. Jon literally did to his own crew what corporations with the world round do to people that put in years and years of time effort and labor only to get slapped in the face and have some already wealthy established person, that was never part of the team that made that organization great, get the position instead of them. And you can tell from his reaction that Jon Stewart does not feel this way because of how giddy he was to relive his "I was a king maker" moment.
