Favourable comments for Man City show how effective sports washing is. People are delusional. This is a regulatory and criminal matter not a football matter.

Be honest city owners are heros, they stopped united from wining the league every year. The rules allow the big teams to block vote against any FFP changes giving them a forever monopoly over the league and the improves only their chances to win it, Newcastle can't compete and even with all there billions there restrained by revenue and what they can spend. Until city came along how many different teams had won the pl? The pl was as bad and laliga is and the German league is, if it wasn't for city the pl would be just awful as them leagues. Clubs like chelsea under ibramavic and Man city allowed the pl to be the best league. Man u would of had near 30 titles by now, as a LFC fan I'd say give them the same punishment Chelsea got a transfer ban a humongous fine and maybe maybe drop them down a league or maybe two. But you can't strip titles don't punish the players

That is why I respect Jose much more than Pep. I think Pep was spectacular at Barcelona but after that he got everything served to him on a plate. He went to a Bayern team that had won a UCL but he underachieved. As soon as you become a Bayern manager, one thing is guaranteed: winning the Bundesliga. So, we can't count that as some major achievement. And then, he went to a club with endless resources and he was able to sign every player that he wanted. Still, they had to break every rule in the rulebook to win all these titles. He took the credit and when it was time to face the charges, he left. So opportunistic.

Let's forget for a moment that Man City operates in sports and football in particular. If this happened to a regular company, the company would cease to exist. Now, they fall under specific regulations enforced by a specific regulator. The regulator will decide on sanctions provided for by their statute. It will probably be a steep fine and a sporting penalty, like a relegation by 2 or 3 divisions. Then the whole thing will go before several courts of law, with potential criminal charges filed against the owners, executives, and staff members, including players or coaches who acted illegally or knowingly benefited from it.
