We should never have given up our right to carry in public or arm our household. Across most of Europe now we live in nations where the law abiding can carry nothing more than an alarm or whistle to defend ourselves; while criminals and those wishing to do harm have never been more armed. <br><br>Not everyone has the luxury of being able to run from danger or fend off detritus. It is past time in the UK that we force our government to repeal the Prevention of Crime Act 1953 as a minimum and allow law abiding citizens of the UK to use more than an Alarm or Whistle to defend ourselves as the status quo does nothing to prevent those wishing to do harm from doing so, merely ensuring they have soft targets. Yet our media and the likes of the Gun Control Network have worked hard engineering consent of full disarmament. <br><br>Our laws are created by an Oligarchy who live in wealthy areas with access to police protection and private security, yet still they fear us. This can be seen as far back as the end of WWII; there is a reason the working prople of this country gained so much following the end of war but it wasnt through the generosity of our elites but due to there being a trained &amp; blooded majority who could take it should they choose. It is no wonder they have continued down this path to a point now where they are now banning gardening implements under the lie of public safety. <br><br>Even in the best of times the Police cannot be everywhere at once. You are your own first responder, relying on the police to be there when you need them will only ever end badly. Allow people of good standing to consealed carry nore than an alarm or whistle makes is all stronger, as those wishing to do harm already are.
