Honestly, I think that a 23-year-old with a bachelor is probably not well equipped enough to work as a social worker. In most European countries, they would need a Master's degree and probably have to practice under supervision for a few years.
She'll skate on punishment. Female privilege in the American justice system means she'll get a fraction of the sentence a male weird get for the same crime.
