Following Democrats’ midterm victories, AI stocks plunged as voters across the country rejected candidates and ballot measures tied to the industry. CNN contributor Jacob Ward reports on the growing backlash against AI and what it could mean for the industry’s future.
In other words, by the time they take over SpaceX it they will have finished the value, the rest of which will be diminished when the technology quickly evolved and everything they took is a dinosaur
The backlash against AI and its infrastructure presents a significant opportunity to reconsider how we develop these technologies. As viewers have pointed out, the concerns aren't solely about AI itself, but rather about unchecked growth that disregards people and communities. A more balanced approach, rooted in ethical geometry rather than aggressive scaling, could foster safety and sustainability, aligning technology with human interests.
AI is about 20% of the American economy. It isn't the Boogieman.

You dont even need to work. AI does everything and gets 100x more capable every year that passes
October 30th, several days before before the election, the stock market lost a trillion dollars, mostly driven by tech stocks like alphabet, which lost 420 billion dollars alone. That might be significant for people to realize, you'd think they'd be speaking of it in the news rather than trying to link it to election blame game. It might even lead people to think that AI stocks are scams, regardless of Elections.😮
For sure. I worked in Chicago - my family has mafia connections in almost every siblings relationships. My nephew is a Giancana for example. Anyways, I worked for an Italian company in Chicago that was a waste Management company. We h. ad a three-page. Do not call list of the other waste Management companies clients. That other waste Management company was owned by the mafia. If you called on those potential customers, you were fired. It was that serious. My childhood friend, I think two or three have direct connections to the mafia. One of them was a young lady who was the daughter of another mobster. He owned a waste Management company as well. My childhood best friends dad, he is the mayor of a Chicago land suburb that has been directly connected to the mafia for 70 years. Some think his father is in the mafia as well. Anyways like you any big city, The mafia owns all the waste Management companies and contracts. It's not necessarily because they're hiding bodies in the trash, but they also manage the landfills. Everyone knows the mafia either. Boils you in a vat of acid and stores, the bin and someone's basement, they weigh it down and dump it in the canals never to be found again, they hacked you up into little pieces typically will throw it out in the garbage in bins all over the city. Coincidentally the same bins are owned and picked up by the same families. I have four other siblings. We were all born and raised in Chicago Mafia towns. I just listed four people I know off the top of my head directly connected to the mafia through birth. My brother dated the Great-Granddaughter of another famous Chicago mobster not named Giancana. Her last name was Nitti. My mom's friend was a real estate agent, one of these towns where all the monsters live. I grew up knowing where Tony Accardo, the big tuna once lived. I live two blocks from where Sam Giancana was murdered. Right after people related to the JFK assassination started ending up dead. I could go on and on and on. I went to a birthday party of a childhood friend whose father was in the mafia. No parents wanted us to go to the birthday party for obvious reasons. That all changed when we were told every child that went would receive a bicycle. I went and got a brand new bike.
you are full of male bovine excrement. gernerators arent hard to get. the soppage of the buiolding of these ai centers are not because of not being able to finish them. politicians are putting the brakes on them. why you gotta lie ? ai a hole
The AI bubble, is a bubble, or at least their value was grossly inflated. Trump helped create that bubble, Democrats getting elected just brought reality back and corrected the market. Its Trumps fault because under Trumps leadership the US economy was being built on fragile grounds, the crash would have come with or without the democrats elected.
AI is an issue that has brought people together from both parties. Well, at least for the majority of us who are not elites and grifters. And we all have been told for a few years that ai is propping up the markets.
I believe it's less a general No to AI & data centers and more a No on unregulated and unchecked development of AI and it's infrastructure without regard of the consequences for real life people and communities.
The public voted no on AI data centers in proximity to neighborhoods. The irony is that the public voted no on AI yet they are increasingly becoming super users and exponentially dependent on AI. These two things should not be conflicted. The issue biggest issue of our century is where do we put the data centers that are absolutely necessary.
The simple fact is the American people are tired. For this large of a shift to happen, many individuals who previously voted Republican have to have changed their minds. People are not sheep. We are sick of the data centers, the wars, and the disgusting cost of general every day life
We don’t want these data centers! We do not want a war in Iran! We are tired of corruption and our politicians being bought! We want affordable homes, colleges and healthcare! We want the Epstein billionaires to face justice. That was the message sent to Washington on Tuesday.
