I have the list of candidates that we hung on doors before the election.. Out of around 60 Democratic candidates, around 40 won.
For the first time after decades of living in Texas, it feels OK
The Democrats clearly understand what their job is, especially now that people from middle- and lower-income households are turning to them because of the rising cost of living and energy prices.

Now they will focus on making life more affordable. This means putting an end to all the wars and crises Trump has been entangled in.
In my opinion the black vote carried the day after the republican and supreme courts racism in regards to the black vote well done black america the world is proud yoh all got out and voted
These winss in red states will make democrats think they can run Kamal/Hillary for president and proceed to usher in another 4 year of maga in the whitehouse
Fox News is over there hammering on the only thing they have....

The Sullivan guy and the Sullivan Jr guy in Alaska

They are pleading Insanity on knowing that Alaska is a frozen world up there and that it always takes 3 to 4 weeks to finish their counts. Because they never paid attention before they are suddenly calling foul.

I've never wanted to beat human beings with the 2 by 4 so much in my fucking life LOL
ONE NOT MENTIONED: State school board was swept by Democrats too. Their attempts to turn our schools into a bunch of little churches to indocrinate our children with their far right radical message WILL BE STOPPED NOW!!!! The party that lies, cheats, and steals and forced our teachers to post "Thou shall not bear false witness" on their classroom walls were handed their asses.
I am neither dem nor Republican . I didn't even vote.. since the psyops just confused me with not trusting any side. But I must admit .. the Dems had some good speech writers.. They worked those crowds into a frenzy . Making them feel good about an inclusive future .. instead of being looked down as poor nobodies.. that's what the republican . Party message was to. Me.. that we are for only rich biz men and we don't care about you lazy bums ... That was the message I still get.. all biz deals.. no humanitarian deals... The masses saw through the smoke and mirrors act.. And if they say the Dems cheated etc.. that's gonna be bad.. bcuz .. those feel good speeches the Dems laid on us the public made us finally feel good again.. If they take that feel good feeling dpeeches away from the masses and then try to convince the masses that the good guys are really the fat cat snobby Republicans who are all about themselves and we ( the masses,,)can eat cake ,..there is gonna be a lot of pissed off people...nothing will fix it again. That is cruel.. to let us hear poetry in feel good inclusive speeches and then say.. no.. we are the good guys . The ones who are making money all these past years while you all suffered playing crossword puzzles with our psyops.. man.. how brutal and spitting in the public . That is evil psychotic crap ..
The world is pleased with the results .
But while Trump screams Veto and Excutive order, a nut job is still dictating foreign policy.
Former allies will stay scepitical and not trusting the USA until Trump has been dragged out of office.
This is not a victory of individual candidates. It is not a victory of the Democratic party. It is not rooted in anger and sympathy over the loss of thousands of lives in Iran. It is not even the American people putting an evil megalomaniac in his place.

It is simply self-interest. A thumbs down to the rising cost of living because of a totally unnecessary war in Iran. That's all the motivation that was in play when Americans decided to teach this foolish President how much it was costing them (everyday Americans) to pay for the fool's errand he had undertaken - the unconditional surrender of Iran. It is about Americans thwacking the President and his enablers who don't know, and wouldn't give two hoots about, the cost of gas and diesel.

The rest, as they say, is politics.

Or, should we say the rest is online blah-blah-blah?
I never in my wildest dream thought I would ever see a blue texas. During Beto's rise, I was constantly told that texas was secretly blue and it was just hard to coordinate and get out the vote. But even still, never in my wildest dreams. Incredible job Texas!
When a governor was a Democrat cowboys won the superbowl and education was 7th in the nation. Now it is 41st and beef farmers ate going bankrupt. Bet they still voted to be more bankrupt
Ken Paxton is the reason Greg Abbott lost. Many Republicans just didn't show up to vote because of their general disgust of some of their party. Almost all of the Dems showed up. Well done disgusted Republicans! 👍
The era of kings and dictators is over. Trump, get ready—you’d better resign and prepare your defense. A $1.4 billion windfall from cryptocurrency. Stock market trades executed at just the right moment. A post-wedding celebration funded by a businessman with ties to the Kremlin. For nearly two years, Democrats in Congress lacked the power to investigate these potential scandals and conflicts surrounding President Donald Trump and his family businesses. But following a landslide victory in the midterm elections—a resounding rejection of the president—they are set to take control of Congress, gaining the authority to launch investigations, hold hearings, and issue subpoenas. Robert Garcia, the Democratic representative from California who is poised to chair the House Oversight Committee, summed up the threat succinctly in a statement released late Tuesday: “Get lawyers.”
So I guess we finally get to see how bad ass Texans really are all you hear about growing up is how bad ass Texans are don’t fuck with their women their guns with their oil as soon as these Muslims, take office and start passing laws and policies that attacks all three this is gonna get fun. Can’t wait to sit back and watch the fuck show. Good luck, Texas you alleged voted for it.
Great win but now Dems have to deliver. They're held to a completely unfair and hypocritical double standard than Trump and MAGA politicians are (Reichwing media and hugely popular podcasters/influencers are at this very minute mapping out their smear campaign for the next two years), but they still have to govern intelligently and responsibly given the mandate they're going to be held to. If they double down on culture war issues instead of demonstrating cohesion in passing legislation that addresses the dire economic issues most of the nation is suffering from, they'll just get defeated next election.
Imagine choosing the game and the rules, stacking the deck, having a couple of aces up your sleeve, and dealing and still going broke. Between the electoral college, gerrymandering, and stacking courts and state houses it should be next to impossible for them to lose, but they are so bad that even starting the race halfway to the finish line isn't enough anymore.
I’m a 35yo Texas Democrat (Queen Ann got bounced about a month before my fourth birthday lol) from a family of Texas Democrats. All four of my grandparents worked for LBJ and/or JFK’s campaigns in the state at some point, my pops and his brothers were at JFK’s last parade in Dallas. Just to give a baseline frame of my and my family’s experience(s) here before I say how this political earthquake is landing.

Y’all…it doesn’t feel real lmao. I was on the phone with my folks on election night and they were saying how they’d forgotten what a good night for Texas politics felt like and I had legit never experienced one. For about half their lives and essentially all of mine, if we were feeling good about Democratic politics, it was never here. And we didn’t even have to drudge through the years of split ticket representations like NC or GA..it just went blue. Like BLUE-blue dude this is nuts lolol
Evidently, Republicans still haven't learned their lesson, from the American people. They are still playing nasty politics. For them, there should be no limitations on the authority/power of Republican governors, but there should be on Democrat governors. Smh.
Enten PLUS Erin doing a great JOB , thank you guys, Enten my friend Trump cannot BAN you from CNN anymore(guy/conman is lameduck now) so you are safe buddy, plus of course clean and fully shaven= looks great !
This is the result of liberals moving there from California and keeping the borders wide open and not enforcing the law. Now Texas is slowly going to descend into the same hell that California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois etc.
Funniest thing in this video is the guy saying “A-G commissioner” because he’s so used to talking about attorneys general. That’s “ag,” as in agriculture.
Wouldn't it be fair for the democrats to show what the GOP is doing to diminish the power of the governor. It would go to show that Texans got it right by voting them out, no?
Trump rebuilt the Republican Party brick by brick, leading to all 3 houses into Power... Instead of realizing his monumental feat - with those same hands he laid the foundation, his mouth, his Narcissistic behavior and reckless care of his allies - he not only destroyed the Republican and set it back 63 years!

Hopefully, Trump won't be the laughing stock for the next 2 years as he'll be powerless, tried, and hanging on to his veto button.

The Maga movement died last night right infront of the world. You’ll never get Latinos to ever vote for ICE again.
Racism is a slippey slope, from black to brown to yellow until one day it will reach whites of different faith or demography. Its easy to dismiss it as someone else's problem until it reaches you. A typical strategy is to package it as patriotism as "America first". America is not white, it never was.
CNN chyron guy run amok again. He adding his own political slant name-calling labels to election DEM winners banner. Maybe the cash he pockets for doing this a great side hustle?
I think Karl Rove is repulsive. But it does not surprise me that things like what the African American commentator was talking about, things that she heard and understood people were upset about would never have come out of Karl Rove’s mouth because it would not have occurred to him because there are not people or issues that he is even aware of.
We are so ecstatic about the US Senate and House of Representatives, and the governorships going blue, but the biggest story is actually all the state legislatures and local state wide offices that have been flipped from red to blue. From Texas to Connecticut. Even two Democrats who dropped out of their races won! This shows that the blue wave was not only wide, but deep.
Dear CNN...when did you decide to add social media slop name-calling/labels to your election results chyron banners?
Can't you just report Election results? You slapping labels on newly elected who
haven't even started their terms.CNN must have crystal ball?
Love how American people use elections to show their voice. In my country, people always piss off the gov. But I don’t understand why when elections come, the result still is the same. I mean, I really appreciate democracy in the USA for sure.
Erin , Stop your nonsense with Michigan Senator Elect Dr. El Sayed. The Zio Playbook will not work because he got 60% of Jewish votes. Learn to respect people's verdict.
O sinal ligado em mim que é a mão de Deus sobre mim segundo ele disse em 2004 quando eu morrer tudo que estiver conectado em mim ou no sinal se apagará.
