When populist or anti-establishment movements do deliver, the outcomes are usually a mixed, complicated bag rather than a total transformation:<br><br>What tends to get delivered: Immediate symbolic victories, quick executive orders, policy shifts on visible cultural or border issues, and a short-term disruption to the political establishment that gives voters a sense of being heard.<br><br>What rarely gets delivered: The structural overhaul of hyper-capitalism itself. The fundamental power imbalances that extract wealth upward, inflate the cost of living, and leave working people struggling to secure basic needs (like housing and fair wages) usually remain largely untouched, because those systems are tied to global capital rather than individual national parliaments.
While I'm happy they've made some changes to their government unfortunately they still can't be trusted to maintain an adult like government in the next elections. It's kind of like having a bipolar family member you don't know what you're getting in two or three years time
