The ballot is clearly marked with the Senator as "INCUMBENT" so if the voter is too stupid to know the difference in the 2 names they probably shouldn't be watching corporate propaganda to get their "reality" perspectives and opinions.

I think the idea may have been to confuse MAGA voters. After all MAGA is made up of unintelligent people and oligarchs. The unintelligent voters could get confused and unintentionally vote for the wrong candidate. However, all you have to do is look at the ballot. It's very clear on the ballot who the incumbet is and what party both candidates represent. You have to be REALLY stupid (or unable to read) to pick the wrong candidate by mistake.

Trump has already made it clear that if his guy doesn't win, it is election fraud.<br>The real danger in Alaska (and some other states) is the basic contrariness of the electorate. IF this affects the outcome, the second Dan Sullivan having been recruited rather than his own volition is a minor issue...the reaction of the the DOJ to interfere in how Alaska governs itself is going to sway people away from the 'real' Dan Sullivan. <br>The governor's effort is within his realm and, I think, will have little effect. That is exactly what he should do, ask his AG to investigate.
