Plenty of polls and news outlets are projecting a &quot;blue wave&quot;, but it seems like they may be underestimating the gains that the Democrats will make next week. Rage and frustration against the Trump administration is palpable, you can see and feel it all over the country. Dems should pass a Clarity Act law like Canada creating framework to secede. We facilitate people moving to blue/purple state beforehand if wanted. Relocation funding/ portion of national debt (debt\50=80 billion each) negotiated via framework. No fearmongering War&quot;. Want a Christian theocracy governed by corps, go for it. Michigan is just a ploy to distract Democrats and get them out of competitive races. I cannot see a scenario where Mike Rogers wins in 2026 but couldn’t win in 2024 where there was more of a republican advantage combined with anti-Democrat sentiment. Knowing that the worst-case scenario for House Dems next week still results in them taking control of the chamber def gives me some relief. It&#39;ll actually be interesting if 222 ends up being the actual number of seats they win, because with a number of new far-left candidates set to become elected, it could spell some trouble for Hakeem Jeffries when the new Congress is sworn in next year. The only reason there is to trust the polls this time as opposed to 2024 is because trump voters are actually feeling the consequences of their actions harder than in his first term. Most people are in the independent middle who dictate the eventual winner, usually a common sense moderate. If Democrats win the midterms, they should focus on the independents, not the extreme crazies and DEI, as usual. They should follow strict immigration enforcement but with reasonable guardrails. <br><br>They should reverse Citizens United and clean up election loopholes. They should break the monopolies and reverse big corporate mergers that fix prices. <br>Yes, tax the billionaires and close all loopholes.
