Make rich people pay 90% of their income over a million, use it to pay down the debt. Just like France did for half of the 20th century before politicians realized they could all make it legal to rob the working class and enslave them.

When lots of people get together, you should give them a microphone and hear what the group has to say.

He suggests more spending on this and less on that. Pensions are a common target. However the state spends nearly 60% of GDP.

I wish France24 had more Renaud Foucart. He has such a positive way of explaining economics.

Foucart absolutely has an accurate sense of the hopelessness of the political situation. The people are unwilling to live with the needed fiscal austerity and EVERYONE WANTS TO SHIFT THE BLAME ONTO SOMEONE ELSE!

As long as a country's medias continue to gaslight it's viewers (France 24, Le Monde, etc..), there will be no satisfactory solution, because no one will know the truth and will suspect the truth as false because they've been lied to so much.

This is what happens when you run out of other people’s money to spend. Good luck and Godspeed.

Despite the reality ( ITS A RIOT……STUPID) French reporters ( Especially Reporters at the Government Financed France 24 Network) are not just delusional but are showing severe signs of emotional Stockholm syndrome , by calling this riot “ mostly peaceful “ which is also known as “CNN Syndrome“ or that the “violence is a cause for affordability/cost of living”,and focusing their reporting on “Police Violence” instead of the Rioters Violence.

///////:::://////====////====////===////===//////:::::::://///////::::////////////////::::://///
