I could believe that Colin may have lashed out while in The institution. He did not know what was going on and had been abused and abandoned.

Collin should sue Kate for defamation for claiming he tried to knife family members and that he killed animals. She also made claims of him assaulting female staff of the place where Kate warehoused him. If not true, sue about that too. And sue the mental facility for their going along with Kate on a false treatment.

You can tell Kate has no real evidence of these things against Collin, so she uses vague blanket statements that could cover a multitude of anything's that are immoral and wrong, hoping people will imagine that people told her he did these egregious things when he didn't. I guarantee you no one at the behavioral center told Kate Collin did any of those things. If anything, they were probably confused why he was there but willing to keep him to keep the money coming in and make the mom happy. Kate is such an immoral person.
