I don't believe anyone said she was brain dead. To begin with, you have to make sure all of the Pentobarbital is out of her system before you can even test for brain death because Pentobarbital mimics that condition. Given the dose she had, they'd probably have to wait ten days to be sure it was fully metabolized out of her system. Then testing for brain death is a pretty extensive process.
They should have used a box cutter the same way she killed Colleen!

There are multiple tests doctors do to test for brain activity or lack thereof, before declaring a person officially brain dead. Unconscious and on a ventilator is not brain dead, as her lawyers seem to want people to think. Doctors saying they suspect she may be brain dead is not, "she is brain dead." These lawyers disgust me. Trying to make her sound like a magical angel-like figure. I don't for a second believe they were going to, "pull the plug" the next day. That wouldn't happen without a slew of motions and protest from her team and a long legal fight. I also noticed her attorney originally was speculating on what she may have said when she woke up. Now, they're stating it as a fact. They are scummy liars.

There is no coming back from brain dead. It is not medically possible. <br>She may very well have some brain damage, but that is far different from brain dead. <br>If the information that her legal team was given was that she was brain dead it wouldn't have come from the medical professionals in charge of her care.

I’ve had a nurse miss my vein with a morphine drip after c section. 1, the drip was not effective and 2, it bubbled in my arm/hand. It hurt. I didn’t die. Her lawyer is the epitome of devils advocate.
