Schools may move to home-based learning for younger students if the 24-hour PSI forecast reaches hazardous levels of 300 and above, said Minister for Education Desmond Lee on Friday (Oct 16).
Speaking at a press conference on Singapore’s haze situation, he added that MOE kindergartens and preschools would remain physically open for students without alternative care arrangements.
O-level examinations may also be rescheduled, while A-level examinations are less likely to be affected. Mr Lee also said schools will adjust activities based on air quality readings to protect students' health. #haze #sgnews #singaporechannel

I feel sad for the teachers. Due to the nature of their job, they still have to wade through the heavy haze to be there for the kids, unlike many of us who can WFH.
