General Alexus Grynkewich used the Warsaw Security Forum to unveil his ""Theory of Victory"" - NATO's response plan in the event of a Russian attack on the Alliance. What comes next? That question was addressed by Radmila Šekerinska, NATO Deputy Secretary General, in an interview with TVP World. She stressed that the Alliance already holds a clear military advantage over Russia and that NATO's primary mission is to protect one billion citizens and defend every inch of Allied territory.
Šekerinska argued that maintaining this advantage will require continued investment in defense, military capabilities, and resilience across the Alliance. She also pushed back against concerns of a possible reduction of the U.S. military presence in Europe, saying it should not be viewed as a withdrawal but rather as part of a more balanced NATO, with European allies taking on greater responsibility for their own security.
The NATO Deputy Secretary General also warned that Russia is intensifying hybrid operations against Allied countries in an effort to undermine support for Ukraine and divide the Alliance. She insisted that NATO remains stronger than Russia, is responding to such threats, and must continue supporting Kyiv while strengthening its own defense posture.
