Florida mom Tiffani Decker is accused of driving under the influence with her 6-year-old and 1-year-old children in the car after deputies responded to reports of erratic driving at a Chick-fil-A drive-thru. Bodycam footage captures Decker pleading with deputies as she struggles through sobriety tests and begs them to let her say goodbye to her children before being arrested. Officer, you asked, begged, pleaded and she still REFUSED to listen to you let alone do what you asked. You NEVER EVER should have asked repeatedly because she dictated every single second of that stop. You were entirely too patient. Open tequila in her car. She was DRUNK. She drove drunk with two children in the car. I couldn’t tell what or why you were struggling with. It was obvious she was drunk. She didn’t listen. She couldn’t respond to very simple questions or understand why you were concerned. You told her to put her hands at her sides and she failed that instruction throughout the tests. You asked if she was in the sun and she said ALL DAY. That was a lie. Her children would be fried if they were in the sun all day. Why did it take you so long to arrest her? You were patient but she was definitely in charge.

I hope she finds the strength to get sober and create a life she doesn’t feel the need to escape from.

How selfish to drive drunk with your children in the car. What is wrong with all of these parents lately exercising ZERO parental control? ..

Dude, the way the cop handled this was awesome because he wasn’t saying she was drunk. He wanted to make sure she was better in the example. He gave him about the heat stroke. This cop knows how to keep the situation calm but also make sure it keeps moving forward. Very smart top.
