It's what criminals do.
The US has become openly and blatantly criminal on the international scene, promoting the right of the strong to opress, plunder and kill the weak. I think that Europe's and the world's fight against such US will be long and difficult, but the US must and will be defeated on all fronts at the end.
It isn't as though the ICC will carry out an armed invasion to capture a head of state to "prosecute" them in exchange for an oil deal
