Operations at the Department of Home Affairs' Refugee Reception Centre in Durban were disrupted on Tuesday, after activists from the anti-migrant group March and March forced the facility to close.
The disruption brought asylum application processing to a halt. It also led to tense confrontations involving the activists, law enforcement and foreign nationals seeking documentation.
SABC News Reporter Taliesha Naidoo is monitoring the situation and joins us live from Durban.

The journalist should ask Phakela to point at the murderers if he knows them. If there are people who commit crimes, instead they will be identified by taking their fingerprints.
