After Russia's latest electoral farce, two employees at a store in Sochi filmed a short video showing rising prices, jokingly captioned: "The elections are over, prices have gone up." The video exploded in popularity, reaching more than 5.5 million views. The response was considerably less funny. The two women were fired, apparently because pointing out that prices were rising was somehow more dangerous than the rising prices themselves.
