At least 17 people have been shot and killed in a tavern in Carletonville on the Gauteng West Rand. More than 20 people were also injured in the deadly shooting in a crowded tavern. Police say men armed with AK-47 rifles and pistols stormed the venue and opened fire. They allegedly searched some patrons and took their cellphones before fleeing. Two vehicles were also set alight during the attack.
