While MAS measures systemic resilience by confirming that most households hold the aggregate asset wealth (such as CPF and property) required to prevent loan defaults, consumer data exposes immediate cash-flow vulnerability, warning that two in three individuals lack the liquid savings needed to cover basic daily necessities during sudden unemployment—proving that macroeconomic stability does not eliminate individual survival risk.

This narrative blames hypothetical global AI volatility for domestic corporate fragilities while masking the harsh realities of an inflation driven economy — co-opting private business struggles into a state agenda of forced tech spending to artificially prop up GDP numbers .
All while delivering the ultimate catch: the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) legally expects everyday households to buffer themselves rather than providing a public safety net.

So minister salary is also sufficient. No need to increase.

Some of u might suffer but statistically it's acceptable <- basically reducing it to numbers. When in these troubled times we should actually be taking care that the social ladder don't slide backwards, that we don't go more into a K SHAPE economy.
