RUSSIAN ATTACKS CONTINUE:
Russia has continued striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of an immediate energy ceasefire between Moscow and Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of refusing to halt its attacks, while the Kremlin said there was no ceasefire to agree on. The strikes also hit residential areas, leaving several people dead and dozens wounded.


TRUMP DEFENDS RUSSIAN DIESEL DEAL:
“I think actually Putin wants to make a deal more than Zelenskyy,” said U.S. President Donald Trump, defending his controversial diesel deal with Russia. Trump insisted both Moscow and Kyiv want peace but claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy needs to focus on reaching an agreement.

DRONE ATTACK SINKS SHIP OFF BULGARIAN COAST:
Two ships have been struck by drones off Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, with one vessel sinking, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced. Radev said it was the second such incident in a week and shared plans to summon Russia’s ambassador to Sofia.
