People call Arsenal boring but I’d rather be boring than concede two and three every game lol. City look poor and they haven’t looked good all season. Minus some Cherki magic and some Doku miracles they really don’t do much because Haaland needs service
You would think Maresca would know from his time at Chelsea what position works and doesn't work for Fernandez. Spending a British transfer record on a player just to play him out of position and wonder why it isn't working is nuts. And Maresca's progression at City is starting to feel a little familiar to his time at Chelsea
Other than Liverpool game and a 2nd half against Crystal Palace Manchester City struggled every other premier league game and people here are wondering what went wrong for them ; seriously they over performed ; it was just a matter of time when would they lose their first match; it is very similar with Liverpool of last season where they won their 1st 6 games and every one was like how did they not lose a game up to to that point and we all know what happened after that…
Same thing happened at Chelsea. It was only about time when Maresca starts having his imprint on the team, they ll start losing. He is too stubborn with his philosophy
All this to finish 2nd this season… not to worry, I definitely not expected us to be in top 3 till January given the whole new team new coach new staff. City will easily bounce back. The main issue is coordination and a bit of defensive weakness. Otherwise we are still good, quite good than most of the teams that are criticising us.
Do these segments just presume that the non big clubs have no supporters? Time and again it's all about the defensive frailties of these "big clubs" but little credit is given to clubs with much smaller budgets doing great things. The three Forest goals were brilliant!
Maresca CANNOT fix a problem of this nature. It’s a mentality problem. Unlike Arsenal that plays a boring and ugly game but are quite physical, City has no intensity or fight when they are out of possession. They suck. They only want to play beautiful football.
Maresca doesnt play to thhe strength of the team.
His 11 are not suited for this current style.
Haaland is starved of the ball, Anderson is expected to juat cover, Cherki is flicks and tricks, Doku is just dribbling... its a mess.
He has to give a style and everyone uses their assests for that style... right now its like they freestyle on game day and hope for the best
Panic? It’s past that and the players know it! They WILL be relegated and a ban from European football! Bigger question is what will the owners do when that happens!
MAN CITY know s they are going down that's why they're playing this way why should they win the premiere league the sign's is already telling you guys as pundits you guys can't see
