please don't let your guard down..
Trump is building the military in Washington DC
that could only mean one thing...
finished unfinished business.
Democrats need to play hard ball with Donnie .
Put the people first !
If they do that the next 2 years they can roll into 2028 presidential elections
I hate when they speak of "mandates" - it implies the other side gets no say at all. No one, in a democracy, has a "mandate" EVER. We are a nation of laws, not kings.
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA / H.R. 1) was the primary legislative accomplishment enacted by Republicans in full control of the House and Senate (passing the Senate on July 1, 2025, and the House on July 3, 2025) before being signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025.
Starting January 1, 2027, key impacts include:
• Medicaid & Uninsured Totals: 7.5 million to 11.8 million people lose Medicaid coverage by 2034 (including 3.1 million in the first year, with 1.3 million dropped solely due to administrative reporting paperwork), bringing the total uninsured population to a 10 million to 15 million spike over the next decade.
• Overall Cuts: The law implements nearly $1 trillion in total Medicaid spending cuts over ten years—which includes $500 billion in automatic Medicare provider payment cuts that put severe financial pressure on hospitals while freezing expanded premium relief for tens of thousands of low-income seniors.
• Because President Trump can veto any attempt to undo the law while in office, Democrats cannot change it during his term through normal legislation. However, since no Congress can bind a future one, if Democrats win the House, Senate, and presidency in the 2028 elections, they can pass a new bill (using a 50-vote Senate majority) to repeal the Medicaid work rules, restore funding, and bring back healthcare subsidies starting in 2029.
THIS WAS AN ASS WHOOP'N! DO NOT SCREW THIS UP DEMS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T SCREW THIS UP!!!! TO HELL WITH BEING NICE BE BULLDOGS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO PUT YOU THERE
Don’t put it past the Dems that they’ll utterly squander the power they’ve been given by filing to make meaningful change and making radical changes (at the State level) that the general populace doesn’t want. Not impossible to see Dem’s 2028 lead evaporating.
At the end of the day, each year the demographic math gets worse for the Republicans. White BOOMERS make up the majority of the GOP. But Trump formed a coalition and was able to peel off some minorities, mainly Latinos in 2024. But, he betrayed his minority voter and lost them all. That racism falls on him. The swing back to the democrats is forever, at least for the foreseeable future. The GOP is screwed. And he is still playing racist games with the appointment of Stephen Miller

Texas and California combined would account for 94 electoral votes out of 270 to win the Presidency. Let that sink in White MAGA!

I guess White male MAGATS are bad at math. There are 39,000,000 (39 million) Hispanic eligible voters in the United States (THEY ARE AMERICANS). The Latinos were so mad that they turned Texas Blue. Without Texas, the Republicans are a dying party. You see in 1990's Republican Pete Wilson tried rounding up Latinos to prevent them from becoming the plurality and lost California forever. White men never learn lessons. Take a MATH Class. Mexican Americans are the Governors of California, the most populous State im the Union and the 4th largest economy in the world and RUBY RED Texas was taken from a WHITE MAGAT BOOMER. Good luck with this decision MAGATS.

In California, Latinos are 41% of the State, White Males are 17% of the State. Governor Elect Xavier Becerra

In Texas Latinos are 40% of the State and White males are 18% of the State. Governor Elect Gina Hinojosa

DO THE MATH or the GOP dies. You cannot win the Presidency without Texas. You may have already lost it forever, but with Stephen Miller, you will surely lose it forever.
