Between the drastic change in his looks and the way he’s forgotten how to play, I’m starting to believe the real Vini died and they replaced him with some guy from Brazil’s second division.
Simple. Current winning team must start with Yan Diomande. Vini Jr must come later from the bench when we are leading. He must proof himself to climb the hierarchy. We can not rely on the history how Vini Jr rescued us against Manchester City, PSG etc in the champions league. Madridista from Namibia.
The question for Mourinho isn’t whether to start or not start Vinicius, it’s how can he make the guy play well again so he has more options for a packed schedule. If he has a in form Vini and a Diomande who can terrorise on both left and right, then he’s got a lot more ammo for an La Liga and Champs league run.
Naaa vini a must start! We need to sub him at 70ish mnts. Thats how we win game. I dont care how bad vini is, i become superstitious everytime we sub him out we win
Vini is a big problem and should have never been resigned. He needs to leave. Don’t care about past achievements. He did not win the UCL single handedly. It was won by a team and players like Benz, Courtoise, Modric, Kroos & the defenders played a bigger part during those wins. Watch the game and stop being a mindless fanboy!
It is no surprise that Madrid’s best football under Alonso came without Bellingham
Under Arbeloa without Mbappé
And under Mourinho without Vinícius

The team loses its balance regardless of their form when all three play together

With all three in the lineup you have three players who like the ball at their feet
Two of them do not defend
And all three tend to drift to the left

That means you are missing other profiles in the team
The attack becomes concentrated down the left because that is where your best players are
And out of possession your left back is exposed

I would choose to keep Mbappé and Jude without any hesitation for reasons so obvious that anyone who understands football needs no explanation

Especially with Diomande in the team
That makes the decision easier and clearer
It's time to give Vini a nice plaque, gold watch, and certificate of appreciation, and a one-way ticket back to
CR Flamengo. His tenure in Madrid is finished.
