Did you know that the New York Texas Toast sold ftozen in stores is neither from New York State nor Texas but from Cleveland Ohio. The origin of the name is that Texas toast refera to a thick cut style of toast invented in Texas but now made in other states too and New York refers to New York Bakery, which used to be in NYC but has since moved operation to Ohio.
