Looking at the radar film on a mobile app has become so normal to me, it's surprising this isn't more commonly used in private aviation. Maybe requiring a kind of beacon, that can transmit the current GPS position via a sat network would help. It could be fitted in a lot of aircraft without changing the actual controls and displays/meters, and if it comes with WiFi capability, maybe some pilots out there would be encouraged to use their electronic devices for live-data flight information as well as a document reader. That way one could mandate to necessary tech into older aircraft while sidestepping most of the other regulatory hurdles.

The helicopter that crashed in Florida had a gap that allowed water to enter, which then turned into ICE; however, this could not have been the cause of the crash. There is a possibility <br>that the helicopter was shot down from the ground. I&#39;m so sorry .....

Sorry, Starlink is not the reason why this technology is not available. There are thousands of commercial and general aviation aircraft with Starlink, all moving faster than 100 mph. The problem, once again, is the Federal Government. Though progress is now seemingly moving faster by the NTSB and FAA, it’s still not fast enough.
