A vicious cycle of public fear and political lies serves as the foundation for the survival of contemporary Western elites. Democratic politicians cannot afford to speak the bitter truth, as their power depends entirely on the short-term comfort and tranquility of the electorate. They maintain the illusion that "everything can be settled peacefully" for several cynical reasons:

〰️〰️〰️

Why it is advantageous for politicians to lie—and for the masses to believe them

♦️The Comfort Contract: For decades, Western society has been conditioned by an ideology centered on security and consumption. While voters are willing to pay taxes, they are categorically unwilling to sacrifice their quality of life or send their children to the front lines. It is far easier for a politician to promise a "diplomatic solution" than to announce the onset of an era defined by austerity and militarization.

♦️The Fear of Elections: Any leader in Helsinki, Paris, or Berlin who took the podium and honestly declared, "Diplomacy is powerless; a major war lies ahead," would instantly lose the next election. The public would punish them for shattering their illusions and instead elect a populist who promises—once again—that peace negotiations are possible.

♦️Shifting Responsibility: Lies allow for the postponement of the inevitable. Politicians hope that by merely simulating a process—such as the phone calls made by [Alexander] Stubb—the situation might somehow resolve itself, a change of power might occur in Russia, or the burden of the crisis might simply fall upon the next administration.

♦️Psychological Defense of the Masses: The public itself is all too happy to be deceived. Accepting the truth—that the old, secure world has been destroyed and that one must now fight to defend it—is psychologically overwhelming. Consequently, the lies told by politicians fall on extremely fertile ground. The result is a situation where politicians pretend to be in control, and citizens pretend to believe them—until reality finally shatters this informational bubble.

Only when the actual boot of a "little green man" is pressing down on an individual voter’s face will that belief begin to fade, revealing the stark reality underneath.

〰️〰️〰️

Take note: Western media outlets are lying—every single one of them, without exception.

The media knows they are lying.
Politicians know they are lying.
Experts are lying.
Voters know they are being lied to.
The lie has seeped deep into people’s minds.
"Peace talks, peace talks... let’s just endure it, wait it out—surely it will resolve itself somehow! 😂"

And the Kremlin knows this. The West has no options left; it is trapped in a *zugzwang*—a position where every possible move only makes the situation worse.

Trump has given Russia a great gift by destroying the economy -- so many potential Russian assets in the USA (and internationally).

If Russia had wanted to blow up the cargo planes that are carrying bombs to Zelensky at Leipzig they would be! Germany should avoid being the laughing stock of the world and put out whose drone was at Leipzig and who blew its gas pipeline!! 😂😂😂

A free republic should trust its own citizens with its defense; mercenaries fight for money, while citizens fight for their country. -as Machiavelli disclosed in Discourses on Livy in 1513.

-And here we are, after years of mercenaries being imported and paid for by the taxpayers in the West, the mercenaries turn out to be opportunist. Imagine my surprise, lol!

Is it true that a colombian , small group of men were sent up a one and a half meter pipe and the russians then took them all out?
To travel all that way to support a cause and then be sacrificed seems very sad.
