I was not aware that RFK Jr. was specifically targeting minorities, such as the Amish. I did know that he, and Trump before him, were very successful at misinforming the poor and working poor (e.g., my family and the community I grew up it). Is this the GOP way of addressing poverty and illiteracy?

As a Chinese person, I don't particularly care about America's future. I just want to see the Democrats win the House—and hopefully the Senate too—so Trump and his oligarch buddies can finally learn that the rule of law applies to billionaires, too. 😂

I'm not asking America to be great again. Just asking it to remember how the law works! 🤣

Ppl want to exercise their rights and not immunise. Non immunised people infect others and it is irresponsible on so many levels.

How did we get her? TLDR: the americans voted in the dumbest government ever, who then seated RFK who defunded the insitutions who are supposed to fight this and siphoning the money away. - And still the americans support this dumbest government. - there is no need to feel sympathy for the americans.

From a Minnesota State University study (a state with strong anti Trump rhetoric)

Ethnic disparities in MMR vaccination uptake. Minnesota children born to Somali and Ethiopian parents had the lowest rates of on-time MMR vaccination—33% and 68%, respectively—compared to 88% among Mexican-American children and 85% among white children. These disparities remained significant even after adjusting for socioeconomic factors, suggesting that cultural and informational barriers are a factor driving decision making.

Its not rocket science to indicate Kennedy is at least partially responsible for this, and also the least likely candidate of
Secretary of Health and Human Services in the world ....but alas, fits perfectly into the idiom of the Trump administration where first and foremost you ignore science.

Rule #1: The real story is always hidden. Here: Big Pharma PR aimed to hide Inconvenient truths.

The US media’s sudden measles hysteria looks less like public-health concern and more like a coordinated effort to extinguish the last remaining unvaccinated control groups. The Amish and similar pockets are inconvenient living proof that chronically lower rates of asthma, allergies, autoimmune disorders and other modern ailments track with non-vaccination far more cleanly than the official story admits. Pharma advertising dollars buy the narrative; Democratic administrations and courts (see the New York religious-exemption cases) supply the legal muscle. Even German state outlets like DW, still suffering acute TDS, obediently amplify the same script.

Meanwhile the actual numbers remain stubbornly modest: roughly 4,600 confirmed U.S. cases in 2026, a few deaths (CDC officially three; Pennsylvania claims five or six, several in children already carrying severe genetic or immune burdens), and a case-fatality rate still in the 0.1–0.3 % range under modern conditions. That is two orders of magnitude below the pre-vaccine annual death toll. The largest clusters sit exactly where multi-generational low uptake and dense social networks were always going to produce outbreaks. Contagious disease is real; the attempt to turn every case into proof that the remaining control groups must be eliminated is the actual story.

MAGA - Measles Are Great Again

Another hit piece. People should be getting Measles shot but I can understand vaccine hesitancy. I won the vaccine lottery 6 years back. Two trips to the ER with heart attack symptoms after each shot, later found out it was Myocarditis. They told us side effects were one in a million, they lied, it came out in 2024 it was one in 30,000 or less. I still get dizzy, fluttering heart...I imagine I'm not living to a ripe old age. I'm never taking mRNA shots again. I'm not against shots, like the tetanus shot I got after getting cut on rusty metal, or other shots...just not the ones the World took 6 years back. I'm angry, you would be too if you if you thought you were having heart attacks, only to find out it was vaccine related. I trusted the health experts and my government, was pro mRNA...until I realized they lied to me.

The US declared measles eliminated in 2000. Now it's facing its worst outbreak in 35 years. Pennsylvania is showing signs of improvement, but vaccination rates remain dangerously low. How much responsibility do politicians bear for America's growing vaccine scepticism.
