Does it matter? Half of Africa is already in Europe.

"Carbon credits" are nonsense. Nothing we currently do is positive for Climate Change. Restoring wild habitat is about as good as it gets, and that is only terminating the wrong of clearing land - it doesn't fix the problem we've caused. Climate Change is the stored-up problem of excess CO₂ in the atmosphere. The only thing 'credit' should be extended to is the deliberate removal of carbon from the atmosphere into some other commodity, and perhaps the reinstatement of protected-in-perpetuity forest. It must be balanced by severe penalties on exhuming carbon from fossil (o+g and other commodity drilling/mining) and ancient (forest clearance) origins. Every other 'carbon activity' is irrelevant from the point of view of Climate Change.

People in wealthy, developed countries around the world have become so blinded by luxury, comfort, and endless consumption that they fail to see the consequences of their actions. Their ignorance and selfishness are destroying the very world they depend on. And when the consequences finally catch up with us, no amount of money or luxury will save them either.

Carbon credits are an EU ruse within its so-called "green transition," serving to mask its own greenhouse gas emissions. If there is a genuine and sincere desire to reduce emissions, then support and fund the expansion of forests—rather than using these credits to facilitate your own greenhouse gas emissions.

Climate protection at all costs? Absolutely! In Sub-Saharan Africa, heat waves are not just uncomfortable; they are deadly. They threaten lives, livelihoods, food security, and the survival of the most vulnerable. We cannot afford to treat climate change as a distant threat when its consequences are already killing people. Protecting our climate is no longer a choice; it is a matter of survival. The time to act is now, because every delay comes at a human cost.

Nonsense. We don't need this nonsense in Africa. We are fine.
