@Carl-p31 MICFRS placed the Met into its enhanced monitoring process, formally called Engage and commonly described as “special measures.”23 January 2025 HMICFRS removed the Met from Engage and returned it to the default Scan monitoring stage, saying that sufficient progress had been made. July 2026The new national Policing Performance System replaced Scan and Engage. The Met is currently classified at Level Two, not Level Four/special measures. There has been very little if any positive outcomes from this. Criminal and misconduct procedures are taking an exceptionally long time, these cases need to be fast tracked quicker than they currently are.

Even police suffer mental distress after becoming victims of sexual crimes, but ordinary citizens not only face psychological harm, but also find it difficult to prove their case to the point where even going to a complaint office is nearly impossible. It would be wiser to just bite the perpetrator's tongue.

I'm sorry Linda that you experienced this, if you read this , know you are not alone unfortunately. The replication of coercive dynamics by the institution are known, if not fully understood outside of them by specialist organisations. An insistence that he process is supportive even when it is causing further harm. And “only once” is morally grotesque as well as clinically wrong. One rape can alter somebody’s relationship with their body, safety, intimacy and the world for the remainder of their life.

Try getting help against a huge corporation or a Union who's supposed to protect is like being victimized over and over again. #UAW

Poor choice for thumbnail caption. Grammar matters.

Well, I see the problem here; crape clearly just has no standard. If dealing with the police is like being craped again, then being craped must be like stubbing your toe or something ....

Not everyone would talk. I guess she would been targeted by other fellows called all types of name or killed in mention.

The police should not be allowed to investigate internal police crimes themselves.

The Metropolitan Police needs to be put into special measures.

For some reason, I highly doubt this story 🤔 i cant exactly put my finger on it, but something isn't adding up here. 🤔

The MET Police were found to be institutionally racist, misogynistic and homophobic.

Never told a soul? why not? She could instruct a solicitor and filed a claim. Anyone watching this if u don't stand up for yourself and worrying about culture and retaliation nothing will change.
