There are quite a lot of people who believe these doomsayers. How does one educate them?

Living on the surface of a planet is pretty stupid really. I reckon lots of planets and moons have sub surface inhabitants.

Just for some perspective… a ‘super El Niño’ is when it’s 2.0 - 2.5C above average surface temperature; this one is way way way above anything even remotely resembling normal. 4+C above average temperatures in the western Pacific Ocean.

Fertlisers have already been terribly affected by the closure of Hormuz; as has diesel (which the majority of agricultural equipment globally relies on). 2027 is going to be the year everyone has been warning of for the last 50 years. It’s happening, folks. We’re in the beginning of the movie.

Look how the BBC STILL tries to ‘keep us calm’… it’s not ‘tipping over 3C’. It’s pushing 4, and it has been for months.

FFS... enough with that "globe in the foyer segment" already, you've re-used that footage so often it's starting to feel like a Nord VPN sponsorship 🙂

Can't say I have noticed anything at all out of the ordinary weather wise. So much for godzilla El Nino. Stop trying to scare people BBC. There are plenty of stories in the world you can do, without this bullshit.

El Niño didn’t cause the haze in south east Asia. That happens every year and when it’s not naturally occurring it’s Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean companies who strip land by slash and burning the forest.

That's the thing with El Nino. What's bad for one side of the world is good for the other side. The reverse happens with La Nina.

We love El Nino years in West Texas. Brings cooler wetter weather and fills our aquafiers and keeps the hurricanes away.
