One solution to improve the situation in France would be to open shops on Sundays and extend the opening hours of stores, hypermarkets, shopping centers, and malls from Monday to Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. 06:00 - 23:00 Department stores, hypermarkets, and shopping centers should be open on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 07:00 - 19:00 as is the case in Central and Eastern Europe. The retirement age should be raised to 67. This plan is being implemented throughout Europe, Canada, the United States, Japan, and South Korea. This would improve France's financial situation, and the VAT rate in France should be increased to 25%, as is the case in Norway.
Raising the VAT rate from 20% to 25% would generate approximately €50 miliards ( billion ) in additional revenue for the budgets of France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Germany. Together, these four European countries will benefit from approximately 200 miliards ( billion ) euros 💶 more thanks to this increase in VAT to 25%.
Switzerland is the biggest beneficiary of the European single market of the Schengen area, even though it does not pay a contribution to the European Union budget for access to the duty-free European market, Switzerland gains 2,900 euros per year 💶 GDP per capita, Switzerland benefits from the "brain drain" of European workers Switzerland has benefited the most from workers from the Western Bałkans, Switzerland should pay 1.26% of GDP annually 11.304 miliards ( billion ) euros 💶 contributions for access to the European single market of the Schengen area and for the use of foreign workers

If they bring back the failed wealth tax people will either hide their money, not declare it, move it abroad, flee themselves, or just not bother working hard to make a great salary.

Somehow after paying into the system and public contract for thirty years and the government wants to tear up and throw away that contract (did happen in the US) of course people are angry. With mass illegal migration you can't conceivably sell it as a sacrifice for the betterment of your grandchildrens lives!
