Research carried out by the Alliance4Europe NGO suggests that pro-Russian networks manipulated information online in an effort to exacerbate anger in France ahead of last weekend's massive protests and subsequent unrest. After analysing more than half a million posts across various social media platforms, the group says it was able to track the campaign back to the start of September. FRANCE 24's Sharon Gaffney speaks with Omri Preiss, Managing Director at the Alliance4Europe.

Russia is somehow simultaneously bogged down by Ukraine and Europe, economically struggling while also being militarily targeted within their own territory and still somehow able to carry out such high levels of psy ops within European spaces

Are European Intelligence agencies a money laundering scheme then? They have no idea they are being targeted? Only these “Research Analysts” who conveniently always show up after every incident apparently are in the know I guess 🤡🤡🤡
@@t1nk3rtail0rImported2wk ago
Not the extremely unequal wealth distribution? Not the fact that people struggle to survive, to put food on their tables, to find proper, affordable housing? Not not having money to have children? None of this? Right, it was the Russians ! Of course

It’s no surprise that so many Russian bots have swarmed in here, aiming to deny what has already become obvious to everyone.

If 600 posts can cause such riots in france, despite banning and sanctioning every entiry from russia, then I don't want to hear this bs now that russia has no influence and it is isolated. For u 🤡s, one day russia is very weak and about to get disintegrated, and other day russia is about to take over the entire EU. No one is buying your bs anymore.

Your NGO guest delivers one of the most important understandings emerging from the reveal of the digital bot farms. I personally find this poisoning of people’s minds to be particularly distressing.

Wow wow wow...this is truly a fascinating reporting but it's not as bad as Biden was in comatose in his entire term so he didn't know anything going on at all. Please don't hold him responsible for anything wrong!

The Ruskies made them rob stores and burn buildings, right... If you actually believe that, you're in for a treat. The faces on the street were the usual ones: mostly immigrants carrying a religion that treats the West as the enemy. This isn't going away. It keeps happening in France, England, Belgium and the rest. But somehow never in Poland or Hungary. Strange coincidence, isn't it?
@@AmztorontoImported2wk ago
Yes blame Russia and china for everything you failed, how convenient 😂
@@nolimelese997Imported2wk ago
Here we go again😂
Russia is responsible for all your failures. Right?
@@she825Imported2wk ago
I knew it was only a matter of time before Russia got blamed. Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long. This tired “blame Russia” narrative has become embarrassingly predictable and increasingly weak. So, let me get this straight: Russia can supposedly influence and manipulate the West at will, yet the West, with all its alleged superiority, intelligence, and technological prowess, is somehow powerless to do the same? How fascinating. So much for being smarter, stronger, and more sophisticated. The irony is almost comical.

Please don't be childish. The riots do not need amplification, they are horrific in their natural state. BTW anything negative that happens in Russia is amplified by the European actors. So, the pot is called the kettle black.

@@bigslinkingImported2wk ago
It's Russia's fault that the EU is led by retardos ***** assclowns👈😎👌. These riots are President Micron's fault and failure, not Ruski troll bots, I will assure you of that. France has somehow managed to issue a fatwa on itself and begun its own assisted economic and cultural "felo de se"!
